Five Memorial Days hosted by Sam

Didn't have the good camera for the 3  days canoeing on the Buffalo.  Moss caught the largest small mouth of the trip, made campfire pizza and sterned the boat like a pro.  THEN we came back to MV to tend to the dogs and went to the drive in theater.  Watched XMen.  Moss gives it an A-.  The pictures posted here are from Saturday to today. Inaugural Trout Dynasty days.  Moss caught trout, shot guns, drove 4 wheelers, drank whiskey, slept under shooting stars and the milky way,  skipped rocks like a pro and learned how to throw a hummer rock.  Just kidding about the whiskey part.

Out of the airport.  Up to the hills and down to the creek with a pole.  Look what we got.  A rainbow.  Moss youtubed how to clean it, so we did.  Took it one step further and filleted it.  A first for both of us.  Then grilled it. then ATE it.  We gotta say, it was fancy restaurant quality.  Anybody says they don't like to eat trout, hasn't eaten like we grilled it over red oak with lime and lemon. Flaky yummy fresh and perfecto.  (the dials are venison sausage with cheese and jalapenos that Sam got us).
